Witness some of the many things that can be created at Heatsync Labs, your local hackerspace! Heatsync’s booth will feature examples of projects created at the labs, as well as demonstrations of 3-D printers, eggbots, HAM Radio and more. Come and learn the possibilities that can be accomplished using the Heatsync space, and speak with members of the lab to learn about how you can join them as a fellow maker.
Cline Library opened the MakerLab in August 2016. It houses the first MakerBot Innovation Center in the west. They offer 20 3D printers, scanners, and design software. They also make available electronic prototyping kits for check-out. This MakerLab is open to the public.
Come see a mini-3D printer for demonstration, samples of 3D printed objects, and participate in a button-making activity, free raffle for a 3D printed object, circuit-based activity, and electronic prototyping kits exploration.
CREATE at Arizona Science Center® is a place where science, design, and engineering collide! Inspired by the productivity of an inventor’s workshop, the creativity of an art studio, the experimentation of a lab, and the connectivity of a commons, CREATE is a 6,500 square-foot community hub for turning dreams into reality.
At CREATE, people of all ages can share ideas, collaborate on projects and learn about science, technology, engineering, math and art through making. By using state-of-the-art, computer-controlled equipment and traditional crafting tools, visitors will have the chance to cut, saw, code, hammer, sew, paint, solder, and much more!
At SWMF, we will proudly show off the things made in our space by some of our talented passholders and staff as well as demonstrate 3D resin printing. In addition, we will offer a make-and-take rocket-launch activity.
