Thank you for exhibiting at Southwest Maker Fest, celebrating and inspiring the maker in all of us!

The festival will happen Saturday, February 17, 10 am - 4 pm, rain or shine! 
 
Festival Area:
Southwest Maker Fest will occur on Pepper Place from in front of the i.d.e.a. Museum to Macdonald. The i.d.e.a. Museum will be open for free all day.
Our partner festival, Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts, will be happening at the same time, along Macdonald. 
 
Exhibitor Check-In:
Check-in will begin at 7:00 am. Please arrive no later than 9 am and have everything set up and ready to go by 9:30 am. The event officially starts at 10 am.  
Enter Pepper Place from Robson (by the i.d.e.a. Museum) and check-in with the volunteer in the orange-red SWMF T-shirt. (See map below.) You will be directed to your assigned space.  Please proceed slowly and carefully to your space, unload everything at your space, then park in the garage on Pepper just East of Macdonald, then return to set up.

Parking
Please park in the Pepper Street Parking Garage, shown in the map, to leave as much parking as possible in surface lots for festival visitors.

Tables/Chairs/Canopy/Displays Not Provided:
Bring your own table, chairs, displays, and canopy (highly recommended, as shady spots/rain protection cannot be guaranteed). You may also need weights for your canopy if the forecast indicates wind.

Power: If you indicated that you need power for your booth, we will place you either near an outlet or in the vicinity of a generator. You will need to bring an extra long extension cord, and you may also wish to bring a surge suppressor. 

WiFi:  @Mesa is the local open wifi network. There is a permission acknowledgment screen required when you first open your browser.

Young Makers:
Exhibitors under age 18 will need to have an adult with them while exhibiting.

Help During the Festival:
There will be volunteers available to provide exhibitors with brief restroom breaks.  Coverage of your booth for longer periods of time must be provided by you.
 
Information Booth:  There will be an information booth located outside of the i.d.e.a. Museum. Bottled water, printed programs, and local dining info will be available here.
 
Tips for a great day:
Bring water and snacks, and a buddy to help with your exhibit. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, and remember sunscreen.  Engage! This festival is all about bringing your enthusiasm for making to others!

Smoking & Music:
Out of respect for others, please no smoking or music in the booths.
 
End of Day:
Please keep your exhibit open until the festival ends at 4:00 pm. To keep the area as safe as possible, you will not be able to enter the festival area with your vehicle until after 4:00 pm.
